Each year Keep New Mexico Beautiful awards grants to schools, municipalities, chambers of commerce, organizations, and governmental agencies. Grant applications are available in the fall, judged at the end of the year (the deadline is on the grant application), and approved or denied at the beginning of the year. All KNMB grants operate through a reimbursement process. After official KNMB approval, organizations are expected to front the money, conduct the project, report on the project, and upon completion and fulfillment of KNMB terms, they will receive reimbursement.

KNMB Grant Committee has numerous jobs when it comes to the KNMB Grant Program.

 

· We  schedule and develop the KNMB Grant Application

· We grade the incoming grants for monetary awards

· We assist the Executive Director with nominating projects for KNMB’s Annual Awards

· For your volunteerism, we let you choose one project for full award.
